Erin's dam is SCEILIG FIA, our foundation mare, imported from Ireland, who won the reserve mares championship at our national show in 1999.

Erin won the foals championship at Oud-Heverlee in 2000, and was approved as a stallion at the age of 2. In 2007 he participated and succeeded in the sportstest which includes loose jumping and a ridden test.

Erin has a very correct conformation, a lovely type with a very expressive head, and good movement. He is extremely kind and honest. He passes on his beautiful type and his easy and sociable character to his offspring .

Among his first crop in 2006 was the Dutch champion foal Otto Van Strijthagen and Smaragaid Bright Emily, a lovely filly in Germany who gained a golden premium.

Erin is being ridden in dressage and show jumping .

Erin's son Otto Van Strijthagen has recently been approved as a first premium stallion in the Netherlands.

Boy's sire is the famous french stallion Appollon Pondi, half-brother of the international show jumping star Dexter Leam Pondi. Both are sons of White Granite , the legendary Marble daughter who bred no less than nine stallion sons. Appolon's sire Island Earl was a very successful show jumping pony in Ireland.
Appolon himself was reserve supreme champion in France on their jubileum show in 1991.
He has performed very well in show jumping, national as well as international.

Irish Boy's mother, Cailin of Hazelfield is a daughter of the renowed Danish bred Frederiksminde Hazy Match. Cailin is one of Belgian's most succesfull mares. She won the junior championship twice : first time as a yearling and again as a 3-year old. At the age of 5 , she became champion mare and supreme champion of the show ( 2003).

Boy himself was champion foal in 2004On the day of his approval as a stallion at the age of 3, he immediately became reserve champion stallion. The next year, in 2008, he won the stallion championship and went on to win the supreme championship with his full sister Gentle Ciarin standing reserve to him.

Boy has a very sweet and reliable character, very easy to handle. He has a lot of substance and is very well balanced. He has an excellent 'pony'-type. He has very active and extravagant free movement. He has a powerful jump. Irish Boy is now being ridden and will be trained in dressage and show jumping. He's a very promising stallion who's bred from famous and proven old bloodlines. Boy has a lot of qualities to offer.
